East-West School of Integrative Healing Arts is a Private Massage Therapy School offering many options in education with even more new job placement opportunities after graduation! We have been around for over 15 years, and our extensive programs and curriculum are fully approved by the Iowa Department of Public Health and the Iowa Massage Therapy Board, and each year we add new exciting classes and continue to grow yearly. We are members of both ABMP and AMTA. Our school is the only massage therapy school with extensive job placement at many businesses including A Massage Oasis. A Massage Oasis is the school’s very successful sister company, with two locations at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and two new locations at the NEW $70 million beautiful University of Iowa Campus Recreation and Wellness Center (CRWC)....and more locations scheduled to open by the end of 2010. Proceeds from these companies go into a scholarship fund, making thousands of dollars available to our students. East-West School was nominated by the community and won “Business of the Year” in 2008 in the Iowa City area through the local Chamber of Commerce. Our 2008, 2009 and 2010 graduates have all passed the National Board Exams at 100% passing rate on the first take. Our amazing faculty has over 200 years of combined experience and many of our instructors have 20+ years experience in their field of expertise. (Many nationally recognized) Our Directors reside locally and are at the school each school day during the work week to assist students and faculty. Our Administrative Director holds a Ph.D. and is available for student advising every Tuesday and Thursday.
